Job Title: Electrical / Mechanical Shift Technician
This role involves operating and monitoring site-critical utility systems to ensure high-reliability, compliance-driven operations. Individuals committed to technical excellence and continuous improvements are ideal for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor site-critical utility systems (e.g., HVAC, boilers, chillers, compressed air, clean steam, water systems).
* Perform first-line and scheduled maintenance on utilities equipment.
* Respond to equipment alarms and deviations efficiently and escalate issues in line with procedures.
* Review and sign work permits as area owner during the shift.
* Liaise with subcontractors during planned maintenance.
* Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and site standards.
* Support updates to SOPs and conduct operational training as needed.
* Ensure all activities are performed in line with EHS guidelines and site IPPC licence conditions.
* Assist with planned and unplanned site shutdowns.
* Participate in reliability and maintenance performance programmes (e.g. MTBF, MTTR, PM/CM ratio).
* Collaborate closely with the Utilities Engineering Support Team and ensure effective shift handovers.
