The Senior Site Engineer plays a key role in supporting the construction management team in delivering high-quality building projects on site. This hands‑on position ensures works are executed accurately, safely and to the highest standards from groundwork through to completion.
Responsibilities
Lead and support setting‑out engineers on site, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all works.
Verify shuttering, reinforcement and dimensional accuracy prior to concrete pours.
Maintain and manage materials reconciliation and site records.
Review drawings and plans to ensure all works are correctly interpreted and delivered.
Work closely with subcontractors, consultants and project teams to keep delivery on track.
Drive high standards of quality control across all site activities.
Promote and enforce strong health & safety compliance at all times.
Qualifications
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 4+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer with a main contractor.
Strong hands‑on experience with setting‑out equipment (total station, GPS, laser levels).
Solid understanding of temporary works coordination.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently and take ownership on site.
Practical, reliable and confident working in a fast‑paced construction environment.
