Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Foreman to join our team in Dublin.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and contribute to some of the most impressive civil engineering projects in Ireland.
As Foreman, you will oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will lead and motivate your team, coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients, and ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise on-site teams, including tradespeople and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out safely and to specification.
· Coordinate daily activities and communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and planners to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
· Monitor work quality and compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations.
· Enforce health and safety guidelines, conduct risk assessments, and maintain a safe working environment.
· Manage materials, tools, and equipment allocation, monitoring usage efficiently.
· Identify and resolve site issues promptly to minimize delays or disruptions.
Requirements:
· 10-15 years experience as a Foreman on large-scale civil engineering projects, in Ireland or the UK essential.
· Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods and materials.
· Thorough understanding of Irish health and safety regulations.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
· Full clean Irish drivers licence.
· Fluent English speaking essential.
