Social Media Content Creator – Digital Marketing Team
We are seeking a highly creative, motivated, and enthusiastic Social Media Content Creator to join our dynamic Digital Marketing team within the Marketing and Communications Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a content-savvy professional to shape and deliver engaging digital experiences across a range of social platforms.
The department is structured into three core teams: Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, and Marketing Campaigns. The Digital Marketing team is responsible for delivering responsive, innovative, and effective communications across all online channels to support the organisation’s strategic goals.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing and Social Media Executive, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and publishing content across social media platforms. This role involves regular travel across Ireland to attend events and capture content on location.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and publish engaging content across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, BlueSky, YouTube, and others—including Reels, Stories, Posts, and ad creatives
* Produce and edit high-quality video content tailored for each platform, identifying opportunities to film and capture compelling stories
* Maintain a proactive content calendar with daily and weekly planning to ensure consistency and creativity
* Monitor trends and platform updates, identifying opportunities to innovate and elevate content quality
* Use tools like Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create and edit content
* Adapt and repurpose content to suit platform-specific formats and audiences
* Develop creative assets for paid ad campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and other platforms
* Manage social media communities, respond to comments, and identify relevant engagement opportunities
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure content aligns with brand and campaign objectives
* Participate in live events on TikTok and Instagram to boost engagement and visibility
* Support the wider communications team with additional content and campaign needs as required
Flexibility in working hours may be required during peak activity periods to support campaign delivery and event coverage.
Skills & Experience
* A third-level qualification (minimum NFQ Level 6) in Digital Media, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film, or Marketing
* At least two years’ experience creating content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Meta, and LinkedIn
* Strong video and content editing skills using Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Creative Suite
* Confident both in front of and behind the camera, with the ability to direct and present authentic, brand-aligned content
* Willingness to travel nationwide for events and filming
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* High level of computer literacy and familiarity with social media KPIs and metrics
* Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on accuracy and tone
* Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g. SproutSocial)
* Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp)
* Full driving licence
* Experience or understanding of delivering positive customer experiences
