About the Role Workday is looking for an International Tax Manager to join our Tax Team in Dublin, Ireland.
The individual will play a key role in supporting all aspects of our non-US corporate income tax matters.
This individual will also have opportunities to assist other aspects of the corporate tax function.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: Manage the end-to-end corporate income tax compliance cycle for all EMEA entities Serve as the primary technical point of contact with external advisors, including information gathering, managing deadlines, and performing a detailed, substantive review of all prepared tax returns Critically analyze and review tax positions and calculations provided by external advisors to ensure accuracy and timely compliance Partner with the international accounting team to understand new business activities and transactions to assess tax implication, and support the preparation and review of tax-related disclosures (current and deferred tax) for local statutory financial statements Assist in both the preparation and review of the quarterly and annual US GAAP (ASC 740) tax provision process for the EMEA region.
Assist in monitoring respective countries' tax law update, and performing tax research, interpretation and documentation on the Company's tax position and treatment Assist in developing and maintaining strong internal control and governance over foreign income tax compliance and reporting Proactively identify opportunities to improve tax compliance and local tax reporting processes including automation to drive efficiency and scalability Coach and develop junior team members About You Basic Qualifications 8+ years of progressive foreign compliance tax experience with a mixed experience of public accounting firms and US multinational corporations Extensive experience managing the full corporate tax compliance cycle across multiple EMEA jurisdictions Strong knowledge with the tax-related calculations and disclosures for local statutory financial statements Other Qualifications Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA) and/or a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) a plus Deep knowledge of Irish corporate income tax law and IFRS tax reporting rules Strong and practical understanding of corporate income tax law across key EMEA regions highly preferred, such as UK, German, French and Israeli tax law Exposure in both the preparation and review of US GAAP (ASC 740) tax provisions for foreign subsidiaries A self-starter with a proactive, "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude and the ability to operate independently while reporting remotely Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a high degree of attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex tax issues to both tax and non-tax audiences High proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with tax provision software (OTP) is a strong plus.
