Government Account Manager

Here at Three, we've done things differently since day one
We take the script and rip it up, we're a big-hearted energetic bunch, striving for a better-connected life. The energy of our people, the pace at which we operate, and the thrill of making bold moves is exhilarating and addictive. Magic happens when we power the connections that millions value, and you can feel it… When these things combine, phenomenal things happen. We encourage our employees to face their weaknesses, to really open themselves up to new tasks and projects in a supercharged and rich learning environment. We want you to become the best version of yourself.

Join us as a Government Account Manager
We are looking for a sales-driven Government Account Executive to support and grow our presence across the Irish health sector, including the HSE, Section 38 organisations, charities and independent hospital groups.

This is a role for someone who thrives on targets, loves customer engagement, and enjoys winning business the right way — through insight, credibility and persistence. You will work closely with senior account managers and the wider public sector team, supporting business development activities, progressing opportunities, and ensuring our health customers receive an outstanding experience.
You'll manage multiple stakeholders, contribute directly to pipeline growth and revenue delivery, and act as a trusted point of contact for customers navigating complex operational and procurement environments. This role offers strong exposure to strategic public sector accounts and clear progression into senior account management roles.
Above all, we are looking for someone who is customer-obsessed, proactive, commercially sharp and genuinely enjoyable to work with.

What else it involves:

* Support business development and growth activities across health sector customers including the HSE, Section 38/39 bodies, charities and independent hospitals.
* Meet and exceed revenue, pipeline, retention and customer satisfaction targets.
* Identify, qualify and progress opportunities using a consultative, value-led sales approach, leveraging available HSE procurement framework.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across customer organisations, understanding their priorities, challenges and operating environments.
* Act as the voice of the customer internally, coordinating with virtual account teams (Direct Sales, Technical Support, Business Solutions, Service Delivery, etc.).
* Proactively identify risks or competitive threats within accounts and support the development of mitigation and growth plans.
* Take ownership of customer issues, using initiative and sound judgement to resolve problems quickly and professionally.
* Support account planning, opportunity management and pipeline hygiene within Salesforce.
* Stay informed on wireless, connectivity and ICT solutions relevant to healthcare and public sector environments.
* Handle escalations professionally, balancing customer advocacy with commercial discipline.

The Skills we are looking for:

* A sales-focused professional who enjoys exceeding targets and takes pride in delivering results.
* Strong account management, relationship management or business development experience (public sector or healthcare experience is a strong advantage, but not essential).
* A customer-first mindset — you care deeply about the quality of the experience customers receive.
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build trust at multiple levels within an organisation.
* Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable working on your own initiative.
* A collaborative team player who contributes positively to team culture and success.
* Comfortable working in structured, regulated and procurement-driven environments.
* Professional, resilient and solution-oriented — especially when things don't go to plan.

Why join us
* Opportunity to work at the heart of Ireland's health and public sector ecosystem.
* Exposure to complex, meaningful customer challenges where your work genuinely makes an impact.
* Supportive team environment with clear development pathways.
* A culture that values energy, accountability, collaboration and doing the right thing for customers.
* A role where performance is recognised — and personality matters.
