LocalEyes is an equal opportunity employer.OpportunityWe are looking for an International Software Quality Engineer with German language skills to work on‑site at one of the most innovative, multinational, and multicultural technology companies.In this role you will work with cutting‑edge software products, contributing to the quality assurance of a wide variety of client applications.ResponsibilitiesPerform manual localisation testing on software, print documents, help and hardware items.Report issues using internal tools, providing pertinent information and suggestions, and follow the solution process to completion.Analyse international functionality issues.Identify areas for improvement in existing tools and processes, and address issues with innovative solutions.Work cross‑functionally with international software QA centres, engineering teams, translators, and project managers to ensure delivery of world‑class products to international markets.Perform any other duties as required.Additional Duties (Depending on experience and skills)Design, implement and organise manual test plans.Create, maintain and execute automated test procedures.Write software test automation in technologies such as Swift, Objective‑C, Python, and Ruby or other programming languages as required.Conduct technical software reviews to assess automation opportunities.RequirementsRequired SkillsFluent in German and English with full professional competence; proficiency in linguistics.Able to represent a German user in all aspects of interacting with a software product.Knowledge of software localisation and internationalisation.Thrives under pressure in fast‑paced environments.Curious and creative in enhancing product quality and user experience.Exceptional attention to detail.Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.Self‑motivated, rapid learner, and exceptional team player.PreferredHardware and software power users of Apple products.Localisation Quality Assurance experience.Strong technical expertise.Bonus Points ForExpert software power users (Pro Apps, multimedia, productivity).Real‑world software engineering experience.macOS/iOS software development with Xcode or Swift.Software test automation experience.Project management experience.EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or equivalent experience.BenefitsCompetitive fixed‑term contract (6 months, with potential for extension).
