Western Care supports people with intellectual disabilities to live full, meaningful lives as equal citizens. These are leadership roles, with responsibility for service delivery, staff leadership, compliance, and quality, ideal for experienced Social Care Leaders or PICs seeking stability, autonomy, and long-term progression in the West.
The Role:
As Social Care Leader, you will have day-to-day operational and leadership responsibility for one or more services, ensuring person-centred, safe and compliant supports.
You will:
-Lead and support multidisciplinary staff teams
-Drive HIQA compliance and quality standards
-Oversee individual planning and personal outcomes
-Manage staffing, rosters and budgets
-Work closely with families, Area Service Managers and senior leadership

-Salary scale: €53,373 – €62,722 (7-point scale)
-Further pay increases confirmed for 2026 (total 4%)

Essential requirements:
-Relevant Level 7 qualification in Social Care (or equivalent)
-
Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory / management role
-Experience in disability or social care services
