Our client is currently seeking an experienced Plumbing and Heating External Sales Representative to cover the Eastern Region. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of plumbing and heating products who enjoys developing business relationships and generating sales through site visits and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow sales across the Eastern Region by promoting plumbing and heating products.
* Develop relationships with contractors, installers, and trade customers to expand business opportunities.
* Provide expert product advice and support tailored to customer needs.
* Work closely with branch-based teams to ensure accurate processing of quotations and orders.
* Conduct regular client site visits to monitor ongoing projects and identify future opportunities.
* Communicate effectively with internal departments to manage stock availability and deliveries.
* Represent the company professionally, maintaining excellent client and supplier relationships.
* Record all sales activities, including customer meetings, product interest, and follow-ups.
Skills & Experience
* Sound understanding of plumbing and heating systems and associated products.
* Previous experience in field sales or external account management is highly desirable.
* Ability to work independently and manage a regional client base.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Competent in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is advantageous.
* Must hold a full clean driving licence.
