Restaurant and Bar Manager

Responsible for:
Ensuring efficient and professional operation and customer service in accordance with company standards.
Managing all aspects of the food and beverage team's delivery and service.
Main Duties:
Assist in implementing consistent delivery of superior customer service through the development and implementation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Ensure the department creates a professional impression on customers and team members.
Act on customer feedback, including complaints and compliments, relevant to your areas of responsibility.
Assist with controlling and monitoring payroll costs by ensuring rotas align with forecasted and actual business levels.
Supervise daily department operations, maintaining company brand standards and adherence to shift controls and procedures.
Comply with statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, Risk Assessment, Licensing Laws, Disability, and employment legislation.
Suggest and assist with promotional opportunities to meet and exceed departmental sales targets.
Keep all team members sales-focused, ensure ongoing training, and submit training records to senior management.
Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage menus, working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
Actively upsell throughout customer interactions and train staff to do so.
Conduct yourself professionally and courteously at all times.
Ensure customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Maintain dining areas within cleaning schedules.
Read, understand, and comply with responsibilities outlined in the Health and Safety statement and Staff Handbook.
Ensure HACCP and cleaning schedules are completed daily, maintaining standards.
Participate in training and exercises to improve standards and performance.
Implement the company's customer relations policy.
Communicate the company's services to guests as required.
Arrive punctually in full clean uniform, wearing a name badge at all times.
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
