Role
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our expanding team. We offer a Business Intelligence solution as a service to our financial services clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decision-making within financial services organizations. They will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyse data, and deliver actionable insights. Strong technical skills in data analysis and BI tools are essential, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Collection and Analysis
: Gathering, cleaning, and analysing data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
* Report and Dashboard Creation
: Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
* Data Modelling
: Designing and maintaining data models to support efficient reporting and analysis.
* Collaboration and Communication
: Working with stakeholders to understand their needs, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and presenting findings to various audiences.
* Problem Solving
: Identifying opportunities for improvement and providing data-driven solutions to business challenges.
* Data Quality and Governance
: Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security within the BI environment.
* Staying Updated
: Keeping abreast of new technologies and trends in the BI landscape.
Skills Required
* Technical Skills
: Proficiency in Power BI and other BI tools, with potential experience in ETL processes, data warehousing, SQL, and cloud platforms such as Azure.
* Analytical Skills
: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
* Communication Skills
: Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Problem-Solving Skills
: Ability to identify and solve complex business problems using data analysis.

: Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
