Overview
CHI Security Team is hiring a Cyber Security Specialist (Graduate Role) to join our team in Dublin.
This opportunity is a live role offered through Cyber Security Specialist - Dublin | Unijobs as a 3-month contract with potential extension. The role is Hybrid (2–3 days onsite).
This is a 35 hour per week contract, Monday–Friday, 9–5, with occasional evening or weekend work depending on project demands. A part-time option (three or four days per week) is also available as an alternative to full-time.
Daily rate: €300 per day.

Key Details
The post is for 3 months initially, with the possibility of extension afterwards. The role can include on-site days and remote collaboration as part of a hybrid setup.
Responsibilities
* Handle security-related ServiceNow tickets from start to finish, including investigation and resolution.
* Process vendor remote access requests, prepare them for security review, and support the access setup steps.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training, including assisting in the planning and analysis of phishing test campaigns.
* Write and maintain knowledge base articles on security topics to support internal awareness and documentation.
* Oversee and support the management of third-party patching processes to ensure timely and secure updates.
* Participate in incident response activities, including investigation and documentation.
* Help identify and remediate vulnerabilities across systems and applications.
* Stay informed on emerging security trends and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in security management, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred, along with a foundational security certification such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
* Internship or academic project experience in a security-related role, with a basic understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR), phishing, vulnerability management, and incident response, is preferred.
* Knowledge of information security principles, including a strong understanding of confidentiality, integrity, and availability concepts.
* Critical thinking and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to investigate issues and implications.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively; ability to propose multiple solutions and seek stakeholder consensus.
* Interest in continuous learning and professional development in the security domain.
