ProSource Group is partnering with one of Ireland’s top Mechanical, Electrical & Sustainability consultancies to recruit an Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Engineer for their Dublin office.

You’ll be joining a dynamic team delivering commercial, industrial, healthcare and education projects, with the chance to work on technically complex, high-impact designs.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed designs, drawings, and technical specifications for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
* Prioritise energy efficiency and sustainable solutions to reduce environmental impact and running costs.
* Select and size mechanical equipment and components to achieve performance, safety, and cost targets.
* Support project delivery by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and managing design schedules.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant Irish building regulations, codes, and industry standards.
* Review and validate designs to guarantee accuracy, functionality, and safety.
* Engage with clients directly, providing technical guidance and solutions tailored to their requirements.
Requirements
* Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
* 3+ years’ experience in mechanical building services design in the Irish/UK market.
* Candidates must be living/legally authorised to work in Ireland.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and IES within a building services setting.
* Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Full driving licence and access to own transport.
* Working toward Chartered Engineer status (EI or CIBSE).
