Responsibilities:
* Manage medical negligence litigation cases from intake to resolution.
* Review medical records and other case-related documents to assess case merits.
* Draft legal pleadings, prepare for hearings, and attend court proceedings.
* Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests.
* Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to clients.
* Collaborate with medical experts, internal legal teams, and other professionals to strengthen case strategies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and client documentation.
* Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices in healthcare and medical negligence law.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Solicitor in Ireland (essential).
* Previous experience in medical negligence law.
* Strong knowledge of litigation processes and the legal framework within the healthcare sector.
* Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines effectively.
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
