The Heritage also offers guests a number of on site activities such as our Health Club with Leisure Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam rooms, 5km Walking Track and Cinema.We are currently looking to hire a Food And Beverage Manager to join our existing team.Main DutiesTo provide excellent customer serviceTo ensure that all Managers, Supervisors & Food and Beverage assistants fully understand their roles & responsibilitiesTo promote cross-training of colleagues between both departmentsTo communicate critical information to all colleagues regarding current and coming businessTo ensure compliance with all bar / restaurant policies, standards & proceduresTo monitor all cash handling procedures and ensure strict complianceTo maintain regular and effective communication within your team and at all levels by attending briefing sessions when required and by conducting monthly team communication meetingsTo have a complete knowledge of The Heritage and the product and services it offers.To ensure that the HACCP system is maintained throughout the hotel at a very high standard.To carry out duty management shifts as required.Be aware of all Human Resources policies in relation to colleague rules etc.To monitor the payroll forecasting for Food and Beverage areas on a weekly and monthly basis ensuring all departments are within the allocated budgetTo assist in compiling the yearly budgets and forecasting the revenue for Food and Beverage areas. To perform a rolling forecast on a monthly basis.To take responsibility for the purchasing and maintenance of non-food and beverage items related to your area e.g. cutlery, glassware.Compile weekly rosters and check daily ensuring adequate cover in line with business levels.To carry out colleague assessments and performance appraisals.To inform the HR Manager of any issues relating to colleagues and be involved in disciplinary meetings where necessary.O To fulfil your obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act 2005 & 2010 and any revisions or additional legislation made thereto.O To keep work areas tidy and safe and report any hazard, loss or damage to management.O To be aware of trained first-aid personnel on the premises and the location of first aid box.O To observe all safety rules and procedures, including those laid down in the Safety Statements.O To carry out and promote fire and accident/other safety drills as directed by the resort Human Resource Department.To carry out continuous Health & Safety training and re-training with your employees.O The above list in not exhaustive; you will be expected to comply with any reasonable request or duties as directed by Senior Management.The Heritage 'Core Values':Our Core Values are the essence of what we stand for as a company and it is our vision to instil a people focused culture within the hotel.
