Our client, a Public Sector Body, is seeking an Equipping Lead to join a major national healthcare infrastructure programme based in Dublin.
This role will play a critical part in the delivery of a large-scale, multi-year capital development, supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of equipping and commissioning activities.
This is a high-impact role within a flagship project, offering the opportunity to contribute to a transformative healthcare development over a 6-year programme lifecycle .

Develop and manage detailed equipping strategies, schedules, and budgets in line with overall project timelines.
Coordinate with clinical, operational, and project stakeholders to define equipment requirements and specifications.
Oversee procurement processes for medical and non-medical equipment, ensuring compliance with public procurement guidelines.
Manage the delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment across multiple project phases.
Ensure alignment between construction, design, and equipping programmes to support seamless project delivery.
Lead and coordinate equipping teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely and efficient implementation.
Monitor budgets, track expenditure, and provide regular reporting to senior programme stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with equipping, logistics, and commissioning activities.
Support operational readiness and transition planning to ensure successful handover and service commencement.
Requirements Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
(Level 8 Accredited Degree Minimum)
Significant experience in equipping, commissioning, or large-scale capital projects, ideally within healthcare or complex infrastructure environments.
Strong understanding of procurement, contract management, and project delivery within regulated environments.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clinical, technical, and operational teams.
Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience managing budgets, timelines, and risk on complex programmes.
