Site General Manager
My client is a well-established warehouse and logistics business, specialising in the storage, distribution, and transportation of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods on behalf of well recognised brands and retailers.
They are recruiting a Senior Manager to oversee the daily operations and ensure the smooth and compliant running of one of their key warehouse units in Meath.
As Unit Manager you will manage a large team to include operations, team leaders, operatives and drivers.
You will be responsible for budgets, policies, P&L, KPI's, SOP's, process improvements, health & safety, audits, and client management.
The ideal candidate will come with 5 years' senior operational management experience working within the area of FMCG /logistics warehousing.

Responsibilities for the job of Site General Manager
7. Proactively improve operational efficiencies and performance in line with the monitoring and reporting of key customer and operational metrics.
8. Oversee all account management activities, including all business review meetings, client reviews and the adherence to customer SLA.
9. Implement all health & safety and quality management processes on site, ensuring legislative compliance through self-auditing.
10. Recognise areas where KPIs can be improved to achieve the best outcomes.
11. Work closely with Transport and Customer Services teams to develop service requirements on an on-going basis.
12. Drive and motivate teams to achieve the best results and ensure 100% accuracy for the customer.
13. Ensure target lead times are met and will be reviewed on a regular basis.
14. Attend weekly Management team meetings to improve business and ensure cost effectiveness.
15. Respond and deal with escalated client queries or complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
16. Plan seasonal and other changes as required
17. Ensure regular stock takes to be completed and all issues actioned.
18. Develop, lead, motivate and encourage colleagues to allow for the succession and development of the business.
19. Ensure all team members have performance reviews and ensure objectives are met and feedback is given
