Sector: Civil Inform3 are recruiting for a Plant Manager to join a busy civils contractor based in Cork who will be responsible for the overall management, operations and repairs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a successful contractor that is continually growing and has a wealth of experience.
The client is seeking a Plant Manager that has knowledge and experience managing a team and Heavy Plant and Machinery. Plant Manager Responsibilities: Report to the Senior Management TeamCoordinating and supervising the maintenance and repair of mechanical and plant equipment and machinery.Liaise with Site teams regarding requirementsCoordinate the delivery and installation of Plant, Machinery and EquipmentEnsure all Plant, Machinery and Equipment is tracked and managed effectivelyComplete any light maintenance if necessary and ensure upkeep of plant and equipmentReview overall labour and material requirementsIdentify parts and replacement equipment and source quotesEnsure the plant department operates to the highest standardsEnsure that all plant and equipment and stock items are issued to sites as required.Establish and manage budgets and targets for assigned areas of responsibilityAttend Senior Management meetings when appropriateRepairs, and servicing to large and small plant and machinery.Plant Manager Specification: Plant Management BackgroundExperience in repairsand servicing to large and small plant and machinery.Batchelors Degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering or related field5 years or more experience in a similar roleHighly organised and motivatedExperience with Plant and MachineryAble to use Microsoft OfficeStrong technical and diagnostic abilityDriven and motivatedFull driving licenceThis client appreciates the value of hard work, professional working practices and high standards and in return can offer an excellent overall package to the right person.
