About Us
Molloy's Bar and Grill and The Station Restaurant is a long established family owned Gastro Pub, known for our warm hospitality and high-quality home-cooked food. We are now seeking a passionate and dedicated Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team and help us deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in delivering consistently high standards of food quality and presentation
Ensure all dishes are prepared and served in line with standard operating procedures
Drive continuous improvement in food standards and kitchen performance
Train, supervise, and motivate junior kitchen staff
Manage stock control, ordering, and wastage efficiently
Contribute to menu planning and kitchen management
Maintain high levels of food safety, hygiene, and compliance
Attend management meetings as required
About You
A genuine passion for cooking and hospitality
A calm, professional, and proactive approach under pressure
Strong leadership and teamwork skills
A recognised professional culinary qualification
2-5 years' experience in a similar role within an Irish gastro pub or restaurant
A drive to succeed and develop within a fast-paced kitchen environment
