At Garrison Coffee Co, we don't do "good enough". We build proper café experiences around serious coffee, warm hospitality, and sharp attention to detail. We're hiring a skilled Barista who can move with pace, stay consistent under pressure, and still make every guest feel looked after.
And yes, you'll also get hands-on time with Garrison's coffee trailer, supporting events and off-site service. It's a brilliant way to sharpen your speed, confidence, and customer skills (and it's good craic when it's busy).
The Role
You'll be trusted with standards from day one:
* Prepare coffees, food, and drinks to exact recipes and presentation standards
* Keep quality consistent during busy spells: speed matters, but standards come first
* Support daily dial-ins, recipe checks, and calibration to keep everything tasting right
* Engage customers confidently: explain the menu, recommend coffees, guide choices
* Deliver friendly, professional service that reflects Garrison's hospitality values
* Keep your station clean, stocked, organised, and service-ready at all times
* Follow opening and closing procedures with a proper eye for detail
* Work as part of the team: back others up, keep the pace steady, bring good energy
* Support the Garrison coffee trailer (events/pop-ups): fast service, strong teamwork, great guest interaction
What We're Looking For
* 2+ years' barista experience in a busy café or hospitality setting
* Real interest in specialty coffee, food, and good service (not just "making drinks")
* Calm under pressure and able to hold standards when it's flat out
* Reliable and flexible, available across weekdays and weekends
* Strong communication, team-first attitude, and attention to detail

* Senior Barista / Shift Lead responsibilities
* Training newer team members and helping raise standards
* More ownership of dial-ins, stock, workflow, and service leadership
* Opportunity to take on trailer leadership for events (a big step up in responsibility)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From €14.15 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 35 per week
