Department: Client Services & Events

Location: Unit B2, Dartmouth House, Kylemore Road, Dublin 10 D10 P202

Reports To: Account Director

Purpose of the Role

The Assistant Account Manager will support the delivery of client projects and events across The Blink Group portfolio. This role is designed for an organised and enthusiastic individual who wants to build a career in account management. Working closely with the Account Director and the wider client services team, the successful candidate will develop skills in project coordination, client communication, and event delivery, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities

· Client & Account Support

· Act as a day-to-day support contact for clients under the guidance of the Account Director.

· Prepare and proofread client communications, proposals, and reports.

· Ensure client deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.

· Project & Event Coordination

· Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating client events and activations.

· Support logistics, supplier liaison, and venue arrangements.

· Help manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting.

· Office & Administrative Support

· Maintain accurate records, contact lists, and project files.

· Support internal scheduling, meeting preparation, and office organisation as required.

· Provide administrative support to senior managers.

· Quality & Standards

· Check and proof event materials, proposals, and presentations for accuracy and brand consistency.

· Monitor project delivery to ensure Blink Group standards are upheld.

· Team Collaboration & Development

· Work collaboratively with colleagues across production, events, and digital.

· Show initiative in taking on new tasks and learning from senior account managers.

· Contribute ideas and solutions to improve client service and team efficiency.

Skills & Qualities

· Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.

· Confident communicator with a professional, client-focused manner.

· Can-do attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves.

· Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.

· Interest in events, marketing, and client relationship management.

Requirements

· Minimum 1 – 2 years' experience in an office, client service, or event support role (internships considered).

· Strong IT skills (MS Office, project management tools).

· Excellent written and verbal communication.

· Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends during live events.

· Full driving licence desirable.
