Quality Assurance Analyst Role Overview
We are a critical component in the manufacturing network, ensuring the safety and quality of products that reach consumers worldwide. This role is based in Ireland, where our products come to life and begin their journey to reaching consumers.
We seek dedicated individuals who share our commitment to safety, quality, service, and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing incoming raw materials and finished products according to product specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain confidentiality as per company policy.
* Analyse and dispose of manufactured products accurately and on time, adhering to standards and procedures.
* Familiarise yourself with the material/product portfolio.
* Accurately register QC samples in laboratory management systems.
* Ensure meticulous attention to detail in sample data entry and preparation.
* Prepare production, delivery, and issue samples promptly.
* Resolve issues effectively and communicate timely.
* Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed.
* Prioritise traceability by maintaining organised records and samples.
* Adhere to safe lab practices and GLP.
* Meet ISO 17025 competency and calibration standards.
* Organise replenishment of relevant laboratory supplies.
* Develop effective working relationships with process operators and Product Development teams.
* Liaise with manufacturing and R&D for smooth product introductions during scale-up.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, or equivalent science-based field.
* Familiarity with Star-lims, SAP, or other quality lab systems (not mandatory).
* Understanding of ISO 17025 standard.
