Program Manager, Submarine Network Commercial Operations
Overview
A program manager leads complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — coordinating with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners across the company. Projects may span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring coordination of the players and timely updates on progress and deadlines.
Responsibilities
* Manage a commercial operations program and ensure things run smoothly.
* Oversee end-to-end execution of a global multi-disciplinary commercial operations environment supported by TVCs and FTEs (contracts, payments, systems, financial governance).
* Financial project management and scalable controls for submarine network infrastructure projects.
* Develop operational and governance frameworks to monitor the execution of critical payments and obligations.
* Develop and maintain commercial operations processes.
Minimum qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business, or equivalent practical experience.
* 2 years of experience in program or project management.
* Experience in commercial operations, vendor management and vendor negotiations, including agreement management.
* Experience with networking or data center operations agreements.
Preferred qualifications
* 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
* Experience in a global financial and commercial operations environment.
* Experience in the networking/telecom specifically with Telecom Expense Management (TEM).
