This is a newly created position as our client begins an exciting new venture in homecare services, having recently been approved as a vendor. It offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager or Assistant Director of Nursing to step into a leadership role with scope to shape and influence service delivery from the very start.
They are seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for a full-time permanent position.
As Clinical Nurse Manager, you will:
1. Manage and support care teams to deliver the highest standards of homecare in the community
2. Develop, implement, and review individualised Care Plans
3. Ensure policies and procedures are consistently applied across the service
4. Identify and escalate clinical issues appropriately
5. Foster a culture of communication, learning, and risk management
6. Lead on audit preparation and clinical governance standards
7. Support and mentor staff, ensuring appraisals and NCCA compliance
The successful candidate will have:
8. Registered Nurse with minimum 5 years' post-registration experience
9. Previous management experience at CNM1 or higher
10. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
11. Experience in risk assessment and community-based care
12. A full clean driving licence (essential)
13. Garda and international police clearance
14. A healthcare management qualification (desirable)
