About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support automation initiatives for a major financial services client. The ideal candidate understands how banks operate, knows the pain points of financial processes, and can translate business needs into clear, structured requirements for RPA delivery teams. You will work side-by-side with business stakeholders, developers, and architects to ensure automation solutions are well-designed, compliant, and aligned with the client's operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead requirements gathering and produce detailed documentation, including BRDs, process maps, user stories, and exception handling rules.
* Analyse end-to-end business processes and identify opportunities for RPA and workflow automation.
* Work closely with RPA teams (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate or others) to ensure requirements are fully understood.
* Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define business rules, edge cases, and process controls.
* Validate automation designs and ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
* Support test planning, UAT execution, and sign-off of automated solutions.
* Ensure traceability from requirements through development to deployment.
* Maintain strong alignment with compliance, risk, and operational controls within the financial domain.
Required Experience & Skills
* Minimum
4+ years of Business Analyst experience

* Proven track record in
RPA projects
(Power Automate, UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar).
* Strong understanding of
banking or financial services
, particularly in operational processes such as payments, onboarding, lending, settlements, or KYC/AML.
* Strong process-mapping skills and experience using tools such as Visio, Signavio, or Lucidchart.
* Excellent documentation skills and the ability to break down complex processes into structured requirements.
* Ability to manage workshops and interact with senior business and technical stakeholders.
* Strong analytical mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving.
Nice-to-Have
* Experience in consultancy or professional services environments.
* Understanding of control frameworks, risk mitigation, and automation governance.
* Exposure to workflow tools or decision engines.
