Recruitment Consultant with TechHeads, operating in the Technology sector.
TechHeads is excited to bring you a great opportunity for a Java-focused Software Engineer. We are currently working with a market leader in Cybersecurity as they look to grow their dynamic engineering team. This role is based onsite in Dublin 5 days a week, allowing you to work side-by-side and learn from industry experts in software and cybersecurity.
In this role, you will have a hands‑on impact on the maintenance and greenfield development of best‑in‑class cybersecurity solutions. You will work with a modern tech stack including Java and Spring Boot as well as getting exposure to cutting‑edge AI and Cloud technologies. Responsibilities

* Innovate and develop creative solutions using cutting‑edge technologies to continuously enhance platforms.
* Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs to securely streamline and automate our customers' security operations.
* Oversee the continuous integration and deployment of complex technologies.
* Automate and optimize all stages of the software development lifecycle proactively.
* Work on systems that operate at a significant scale, providing a unique opportunity to see the tangible results of your efforts.
* Collaborate closely with various teams to ensure seamless product usage.
* Mentor and support team members while fostering a culture of continuous collaboration.
* Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in Software Development using Java and Spring.
* Strong understanding and application of software security principles.
* Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion.
* Practical experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, or other data pipeline and orchestration tools.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
* Strong grasp of unit testing, continuous integration, and deployment practices.
* Proven track record of working on large‑scale systems and delivering high‑quality results.
