We advise both employers and employees on all aspects of applicable Irish legislation and case law throughout the entire employment life cycle.RoleCrushell & Co. is looking to recruit a Trainee Solicitor (Law Society Hybrid Course).The successful candidate will be afforded the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, gain invaluable hands on experience, work remotely, exercise considerable flexibility and avail of generous tuition support. In addition to their base remuneration, Crushell & Co. is willing to cover the fees of the Law Society Hybrid Traineeship Programme.This role will afford the successful candidate a unique opportunity to gain a valuable insight into all aspects of Irish employment law.The first year will be focused on case management and administration.The second year will revolve around client intake and consultation preparation (as well as attendance at the Law Society PPC on a PT basis).The third year will require the successful candidate to prepare draft submissions, assist counsel and attend WRC, Labour Court and court hearings.There may also be the opportunity for secondment in other practices to diversify expose to different areas of law.DutiesThe successful candidate will be required to:· Draft initial written correspondence.· Draft initial WRC complaint forms.· Draft initial PIAB claim forms.· Draft initial employment permit application forms.· Assist in preparing WRC Submissions.· Assist in preparing Submission to support employment permit applications.· Prepare booklets of evidence.· Update and appraise clients on case developments.· Any other ancillary duties.Qualifications· Recognised law degree from a relevant Irish third level institution.· Excellent computer literacy.· Word proficiency.· Attention to detail.· Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferance will be given to candidates who have most, if not all, of their FE1s complete, as the envisaged PPC start date is January 2027.This role represents an exciting opportunity for any aspiring solicitor.
