The Referral Liaison Administrator is the first point of contact for our referring doctors. This person will ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency within the department. The Referral Liaison Administrator is responsible for providing professional and flawless administration support to our referring doctors, radiologists, and RIS/PACS Office.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
1. Answer calls from the dedicated referrer line and be the first point of contact for the referrer.
2. Respond to faxes and emails via the dedicated fax line and email in a timely manner.
3. Respond to any concerns from doctors or their practices efficiently and accurately.
4. Work closely with the Radiologist group to resolve any administration issues.
5. Collaborate with the RIS PACS Team, Medical Director, and CSM.
6. Ensure high priority reports are managed with the referrer to ensure receipt and documentation.
7. Coordinate with the Affidea Client Relationship team and arrange priority reports when requested.
8. Work with the Appointment department, centre managers, reception staff, and clinical staff regarding reports, failed faxes, priority reports, and referrer database queries.
9. Administer and maintain the Referrers Portal.
10. Monitor all failed faxes throughout the day and ensure resolution.
11. Add and edit referrers in the database.
12. Monitor the radiologist worklist to ensure reporting times are within 48 hours and request additional help if needed.
13. Check the reporting console daily for scan statuses and liaise with relevant staff to resolve issues.
14. Manage the REVIEW LIST, including various report and scan-related tasks.
15. Handle complaints related to radiology reports following company procedures.
16. Update and maintain the Referrer Log with all relevant entries.
Qualifications:
* Leaving Certificate.
* Strong MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel).
* Fluent English (oral and written).
Experience:
* 2-3 years in a similar role.
