* Carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing of fixed and mobile plant, as well as ancillary machinery;
* Work alongside site and maintenance teams to deliver a regional preventative maintenance program;
* Diagnose breakdowns and return equipment to service quickly and efficiently;
* Perform component rebuilds, testing, and monitor spare part usage;
* Record all repair activity and ensure efficient parts handling;
* Lead by example in all aspects of Health & Safety, ensuring adherence to company safety systems, policies, and procedures;
* Report hazards, incidents, and ensure a safety-first approach at all times.
* Time-served trade or relevant mechanical qualification;
* Minimum 1 year experience in quarrying, concrete, recycling, or similar industrial environment;
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a wider team;
* Welding and fabrication skills highly advantageous;
* Hands-on knowledge of heavy equipment repair tools and techniques;
* Familiarity with rigging, slinging, and jacking procedures;
* Strong planning and problem-solving mindset with ability to meet tight deadlines.
