Are you a seasoned finance professional ready to take ownership of a full accounting function and play a pivotal role in senior management? An established and growing international company is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its leadership team. This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to work across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation of quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts.
* Ensure accurate internal and external financial reporting across multiple entities.
* Manage intercompany transactions and be the primary contact for external auditors and tax authorities.
* Oversee payroll processes for domestic and international entities.
* Ensure compliance with VAT, RCT/CIS, VIES, and payroll regulations across Ireland, the UK, and the Netherlands.
* Collaborate with commercial teams to process monthly construction contract invoices and track work-in-progress.
* Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely client payments.
* Act as a key liaison for internal stakeholders, insurance providers, and compliance agencies.
* Supervise and mentor a trainee accountant.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5-7+ years post-qualification experience.
* Strong background in financial reporting, auditing, and compliance.
* Experience in public accounting is desirable but not essential.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cloud-based accounting systems.
* Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
