Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Clinical Nurse Manager
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Clinical Nurse Manager IPC for our Transitional Care Units based in North Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Registered Provider/Director of Nursing with the day-to-day management of the home.
* Act as a member of the Multidisciplinary Care Team, the Risk Management Team, the Incident Management Team, and the Infection Control Team.
* Stay up-to-date with recent trends and developments in the field by reading widely.
* Maintain resident confidentiality throughout the facility.
* Motivate team members through performance reviews and goal-setting.
* Manage care staff and handle human resource issues effectively.
* Create open communications and healthy working relationships among team members.
* Delegate tasks appropriately based on staff members' levels of experience, competence, role, and scope of practice.
* Work towards creating a restraint-free environment aligned with national policies.
* Address disciplinary and grievance matters according to operational policies and procedures.
* Ensure staff rights and responsibilities are respected in accordance with best practice and legislation.
* Provide staff with training on policies, procedures, and safeguarding residents.
* Attend meetings, chair as required, and keep staff informed about facility developments.
* Implement service changes via the Change Management process.
* Maintain accurate statistics on services provided.
Requirements:
* Nursing Qualification.
* Ongoing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
* Desirable: Postgraduate in Gerontology or previous experience in Care of the Elderly.

Job Details:

* Hourly rate: €24.00.
* 12 hour shifts.
Qualifications:
* Clinical Nurse Manager experience (1 year preferred).
* IPC experience (1 year preferred).
Authorisation:
* NMBI Registration (required).
* Ireland work authorisation (required).
