Orthopaedic Territory Account Manager Job Description
As a Territory Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales and market share objectives by selling and demonstrating a range of Ortho Surgical Devices to a specific customer base of hospitals across the territory.
The successful candidate will develop lasting business partnerships with key customers, assist them with clinical, technical, and commercial inquiries, and provide feedback on promotional programs and environmental changes to improve product and company performance in the marketplace.
1. The role involves developing strong relationships with key customers and establishing their trust through excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
2. You will also need to assist customers with training on the use and maintenance of our surgical devices, as well as ensure they are fully informed about our product offerings.
3. Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis is crucial to this role, so strong business acumen and negotiation skills are required.
4. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
5. Additionally, you will identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our presence within existing and emerging markets.
6. It is essential that you have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including current trends and regulatory requirements.
7. Specific experience with Surgical Orthopaedic Products is highly desirable, but not essential if you have transferable skills and experience in a related field.
Requirements:
* 2 – 5 Years Hospital Sales Experience (Surgical Sales) or equivalent
* Full Clean Driving License
* A Nursing (RGN) / Medical background (Desirable)
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent organizational skills
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding business through effective account management
