Project Manager: Environmental Planning
A leading organization in the renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join its growing team. This role supports the delivery of planning applications and environmental assessments for a broad portfolio of renewable energy projects, including Strategic Infrastructure Developments (SID) and non-SID projects.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of Ireland's transition to a low-carbon future while coordinating multidisciplinary environmental teams and engaging with stakeholders.
About the Role:
* Support the development and submission of planning applications for renewable energy infrastructure projects.
* Coordinate the preparation of key environmental documentation such as EIA and AA Screenings, EIARs, and Natura Impact Statements (NIS).
* Oversee baseline environmental assessments and manage input from internal and external technical experts.
About You:
We are looking for individuals with a strong background in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification is desirable.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in supporting planning applications and environmental assessment processes.
* Strong working knowledge of the EIA process and Irish planning legislation.
* Experience with renewable energy and infrastructure projects, especially SID.
