Immigration Law ParalegalWe are looking for an experienced paralegal with 2+ years of experience in working for immigration law firms in the US. You will be working full time (50 hours/week), during US business hours (EST)To be considered, you need to meet the following criteria:Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and file immigration petitions and applications (e.g., family-based, employment-based, asylum, naturalization)Collect, organize, and review supporting documentation from clientsDraft legal documents such as affidavits, cover letters, and USCIS formsCommunicate with clients, attorneys, and government agencies (USCIS, DOS, ICE)Track case progress, deadlines, and renewals using case management softwareConduct legal research and stay current on immigration laws and policy changesMaintain accurate client files and ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal proceduresRequirements2+ years of experience in immigration law (firm or legal department)Solid understanding of U.S. immigration processes and procedures (e.g., H-1B, I-130, I-485, DACA, etc.)Proficiency with immigration software (e.g., LawLogix, INSZoom, Docketwise)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and handle high-volume caseloadsBachelor's degree or paralegal certificate (preferred, not always required)
