Sensori Group specialises in end-to-end project management, overseeing all phases of building development from design to construction, MEP systems integration, fit outs, and facilities management.
We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role primarily based in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
1. Review MEP specifications and build procurement packages.
2. Participate in all preconstruction activities, including health and safety, technical submissions, construction drawing production, prefabrication, building control submissions, and project commissioning management.
3. Liaise with stakeholders such as client design teams, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to support electrical engineering needs.
4. Review electrical IFC specifications and drawings to understand project scope and technical requirements.
5. Collaborate with BIM teams to convert electrical designs into installation drawings, ensuring compliance and schedule adherence.
6. Align engineering activities with project schedules, supporting procurement and installation milestones.
7. Prepare and submit technical documentation, including tracking approvals for electrical components and systems.
8. Engage vendors for technical support and explore value engineering opportunities.
9. Manage material procurement, including material take-offs and lead time analysis.
10. Coordinate equipment procurement and monitor delivery timelines.
11. Ensure electrical installations meet project specifications and quality standards, including conducting site audits.
12. Define project completion criteria and prepare close-out documentation.
13. Prepare tender packages for subcontractors and suppliers, collaborating with the project QS.
14. Manage electrical work packs from development through to final handover.
15. Oversee BIM priorities, including electrical drawing generation and release.
16. Communicate with clients through reports and presentations.
17. Schedule meetings and training to align project teams on engineering requirements.
18. Coordinate with project management teams to ensure compliance with regulations.
19. Provide technical support during construction, troubleshooting electrical issues and ensuring best practices.
Skills & Education
1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
2. Electrical Engineering Qualification.
3. Experience in construction project delivery.
4. Proficiency in CAD and MS Office.
5. Excellent time management skills.
6. Knowledge of QHSE standards.
