Title of Position:
Shift Leader.JLL Dublin

Reporting to :
Engineering Services Manager

Shift Pattern – Continental

* Continental Shift Pattern
* Engineering will be on site 7am-12midnight Mon-Fri
* Engineering will be on site 7am-8pm Sat-Sun
* 2 Shifts will run daily
* 7am-7pm and 12pm-12am
* On Call from 12am-7am

Job Purpose

* To undertake all aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, small projects and Help Desk Calls in accordance with both client and JLL requirements .
* To manage and monitor the building operational functions.
* To be responsible for the buildings operational assets and systems whilst on shift.
* To issue permit to work for all specialist vendors and carryout appropriate isolations via LOTO.
* To complete HV training and switch HV and LV supplies as required.

Aims and Objectives

* To assist and support the ESM/BSS in all functions, to ensure HSE, statutory and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

* Escalation of incidents
* All aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and Help Desk Calls managed and completed whilst on shift.
* Provide holiday and sickness cover
* Staff supervision including sub-contractors and specialist providers.
* Be proactive with regard to preventative maintenance and extra works.
* Operate JLL QA and HSE policy and procedures
* Maintain clear and legible records as required.
* Provide written incident reports as required.
* Interaction with JLL support staff, providing information as required
* Switching of HV and LV supplies as required

Occasional Allied Duties

* To deputize as ESM support as required.

* Interface with Client Representative, and Service providers.

Person Specification
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, Skills And Competencies
The knowledge, skills, qualifications, competencies and experience relevant to the position are:

Essential

* City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent; or
* 17th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent.
* Experience gained within a critical maintenance environment .
* A good working knowledge of BMS, and critical assets and systems i.e. UPS,Emergency Generation,Electrical and Mechanical distribution,Air conditioning.
* Ability to interpret technical information and work with the team to provide solutions to technical / complex issues.
* Good leadership qualities, with a desire to progress within the business.

Desirable

* HV Approved.
* BTEC ONC Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Services or recognised equivalent.
* Experience in a supervisory role.
