Partner Technical Engineer – Business Messaging
We are seeking a Partner Technical Engineer to join the Business Messaging Support team, working with enterprise customers and managed partners using our Business Messaging API. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting, customer support experience, and the ability to collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive improvements.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to enterprise customers using the Business Messaging API.
* Troubleshoot complex integrations and become an expert in platform deployment.
* Manage a personal support queue, ensuring timely resolution of cases and KPI compliance.
* Communicate customer issues effectively across engineering, product, and cross-functional teams.
* Act as a trusted advisor to partners, identifying opportunities for product and process improvement.
* Serve as the technical point of contact between developers and internal teams.
* Contribute to improving tools, processes, and training for customer support.
* Participate in scheduled weekend support rotations (approx. once every 6 weeks).
Requirements
* BA/BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
* 2–4+ years’ programming experience with APIs and backend systems.
* Proven technical support experience in enterprise environments.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work autonomously and prioritise effectively.
* Exposure to large-scale enterprise systems, REST APIs, and bug management.
* Experience with business messaging platforms (e.g., Twilio, 360Dialog, MessageBird, WhatsApp Business API) is highly desirable.
