We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Fresh Food Manager to lead the fresh food department of a high-performing retail store in Ennis, Co. Clare.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and motivate the fresh food team to achieve performance targets
Ensure excellent product quality, presentation, and availability across all fresh food categories
Drive sales growth and margin improvement through effective planning and execution
Manage stock control, ordering, waste reduction, and supplier relationships
Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations
Implement strong merchandising and promotional strategies
Deliver outstanding customer service and respond to customer feedback
Schedule staffing effectively to meet business needs
Key Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in fresh food management or senior supervisory role in retail or food service
Strong knowledge of fresh food operations (deli, bakery, butchery, etc.)
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing KPIs (sales, margin, waste)
Excellent understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
Strong organisational and communication skills
Passion for food, retail, and customer service
