Purcelloleary Recruitment have been assigned to recruit for a Part Qualified Accountant role. This role would suit a person based in Wexford or Kilkenny.
Our client is a manufacturing business currently experiencing a growth in new business, they now require a Part or Newly Qualified Accountant to progress to manage & develop the finance function.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a broad hands‑on role, as the candidate will be joining at a stage when the company is in growth mode.
The role represents an opportunity to add the continued growth of the business. The company offers career progression and support in the role.
Duties will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for group companies.
- Assist senior management with budgeting, systems development, and tax planning activities across the group
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and reconciled accurately and on a timely basis.
- Manage inter-company
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies
- Ongoing review and improvement of Internal Financial Controls
- Management and development of the finance team
- Ensure organisation is compliant with Taxation and Statutory obligations
- Manage Year-end Audit and interaction with auditors
- Other ad hoc duties and projects as required
Candidate Profile
- Role will suit a candidate who is comfortable interacting at senior levels within a business.
- Candidate should be a qualified accountant or part qualified candidate
- Excellent IT and inter‑personal skills and a pro‑active "can do" attitude.
