The successful candidate must have extensive experience architecting and designing and a track record of successfully delivering FPGA-based systems.ResponsibilitiesSpecification/design of FPGA blocksDesign documentation, including FPGA requirements, specifications, design descriptions, and test specifications.FPGA laboratory-based verification work, system integration and test.Support existing FPGA design verification and board test activities.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on system architecture and design, providing inputs to architecture and design reviews.Write, simulate, and verify VHDL-based FPGA designs.Schematic, PCB Layout support, and review.Experience & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic EngineeringProficient with scripting languages such as Python and programming languages such as C/C++ for simulation/design environment development and laboratory test results analysis.Strong knowledge of FPGA design flow: Verification, Synthesis, Partitioning, Place & Route, Timing Closure and Power EstimationKnowledge of interface protocols, memory technologies and communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C).Experience working with electronic circuit & system design: analogue, digital and power.Knowledge of embedded systems and processor architecturesExperienced in using laboratory equipment such as Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, and Signal Analyser.Experience with tools such as SVN & GitPreferred experience with VHDL and ECSS-Q-ST-60-02 – ASIC & FPGA Development design flow for space projects.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Team playerVery proficient reading and writing in English, other languages preferable.BenefitsPensionIncome ProtectionDeath in ServiceFree Parking22 days annual leave (Increases with service)Job DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering, Design, and ManufacturingIndustries: Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing
