You'll work majority of your week away from home. Away from home means either attendance at one of our head offices, visiting clients or attending industry events.The primary responsibility is to provide assurance to AXA Ireland Board and Senior Management that regulatory control frameworks implemented within the business are complaint with the AXA Insurance Dac Regulatory Universe. In addition to the identification of areas of best practice, control gaps or areas for improvement, where non-compliance with regulatory requirements is identified this non-compliance is escalated, reported and monitored timeously across the appropriate AXA Group Governance Forums.The main responsibilities will involve:· Assist the Reg Assurance Senior Compliance Officer in the development, management and full delivery of the Annual Reg Assurance Plan ensuring a risk-based approach is taken to planning the annual reviews for AXA Ireland against the AXA Group Reg Universe.· Ensure that through ongoing monitoring, review and a risk-based approach, coverage is afforded to those regulations, processes and areas that pose the greatest regulatory exposure to the business, whilst at the same time ensuring appropriate coverage across the whole of AXA Ireland· Deliver and execute individual reviews that comply with the AXA Ireland Reg Assurance Methodology across the reg assurance lifecycle, including but not limited to:a Engagement Planning (Stakeholder Identification, Risk and Control Matrix Population, Survey Completion, ToR agreement)b Fieldwork (Testing and Analysis)c Reporting (Drafting of reports, discussions with senior management on agreement of findings and remedial actions)d Issue Management (System Capture, Tracking, Escalation)e Follow-up and Closure (Validation Testing)f Governance Reporting (Based on AXA Governance Reporting Requirements)· Monitor the progress of Management Action Plans resulting from reviews through liaising with key stakeholders and updating the action tracking database accordingly.· Provide written status reports to the Senior Compliance Officer Proud to be part of the AXA Group, at AXA Ireland our values are at the heart of everything we do.
