The Group operates as a commercial organisation across 10 business units, including 12 production facilities located in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa.The commercial organisation is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua's consumer brands including Ireland's most successful food export: Kerrygold. Consumer markets are served by production facilities in Ireland, Germany and the UK and by in-market Sales & Marketing Teams in Asia, Germany, Ireland, MEA, Poland, Spain, rest of Europe and North and Latin America.It also manages the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products, the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers globally, and the implementation of de-risking and trading strategies to manage market volatility. These activities are supported by production facilities and in-market teams in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa.Key Areas of ResponsibilityPeople Services AdvisorResponsibilities:Contributes to the People Services team, displaying a strong ability to problem solve through managing and administering employee lifecycle events from onboarding through to offboarding for various jurisdictionsActs as an SME for specific People Services activitiesResponding to and resolving HR enquiries from employees, managers and HR colleagues in a timely manner utilizing knowledge base and case management tool in accordance with our SLA'sManage the contract and onboarding process across our Business UnitsCommunicate instructions to payroll in a timebound mannerReporting on absence and other people reportsManage and calculate holiday balancesComplete transactional HR processes and data updates using Success factors HRIS system and PeopleDoc CRMProcessing of invoices through the systemParticipates in data review, auditing and user acceptance testing of new processes, procedures and system changes as neededMaintaining electronic and physical personnel records in accordance with record retention policiesResponsible for having a general understanding of policy and procedures and be able to help others navigate themParticipate in and lead projects and process improvement initiativesUphold compliance in relation to employment and data protection legislationFull understanding of GDPR requiredRisk Management is a key part of this role, ensuring any risks are mitigated and highlighted to management where requiredStrong stakeholder engagementKey competencies3rd level qualification or equivalent experienceExcellent customer service, time management and communication skillsHigh personal integrity required in handling confidential informationExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsHighly proficient and competent user in Microsoft Office applications particularly ExcelSAP Success Factors experience is an advantageFlexible team player, with a passion and drive for HR and the ability to work in a fast paced environmentOrnua Core CompetenciesCustomer Focus: Advocates for the customer, balances customer and business needs, and spots opportunities for growth.Forward-Looking: Helps others to accept change, implements change, and looks ahead to anticipate change.Curious: Open to asking questions and willing to learn and continuously improve.Working Together: Encourages co-operation in own team and supports cross-functional working.Closing date: January 9th 2026
