FläktGroup Ireland is seeking a dedicated Junior Project Engineer with HVAC to join our team, ensuring the continuous, reliable operation of critical HVAC and cooling systems that support our Global Pharma clients.
Purpose of the Position
Ensure the precise and meticulous technical execution support during the sales and project phases for Air Handling Unit (AHU) projects primarily within the Pharmaceutical industry.
Main Responsibilities
Utilize selection software to accurately size and select Air Handling Units and their respective components.
Contact suppliers to obtain necessary technical information and request quotations for AHU components.
Review supplier submittals meticulously to ensure compliance with project and client specifications.
Compile a comprehensive list of documentation required from each supplier for the client handover file.
Format final project documentation and handover files correctly according to specific client demands and quality standards.
Support the global sales and project execution teams with technical expertise and project documentation coordination.
Basic Requirements of the Position
Education/Knowledge/Certification:
Must-Have: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
Nice-to-Have: Knowledge or previous exposure to HVAC systems, particularly Air Handling Units (AHUs).
Experience:
Must-Have: 1-2 years of professional experience in engineering, technical support, or project execution role
Nice-to-Have: Experience working within the Pharmaceutical, regulated industry, or a related high-quality manufacturing sector
Skills:
Must-Have: Proficiency in using technical selection software and standard office productivity tools.
Excellent Technical English
German language skills to support factory communication
Nice-to-Have: Additional competences (e.g. product management, controls, marketing etc.)
Competence
Precise and focus.
Meticulous attention to detail and high standard for accuracy.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to quickly learn complex technical subjects (e.g., AHU technology).
Working Conditions
Primary work location is the office in Cork, Ireland.
Work is focused on supporting a global team, which may require flexibility in scheduling for international coordination.
Occasional travel is required to visit clients or suppliers.
