About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading global organisation within the medical technology sector, is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative electro‑mechanical products that directly impact healthcare delivery worldwide.
You will play a key role in the design and development of complex medical devices, contributing across the full product lifecycle from concept through to commercialisation.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards for electro‑mechanical products
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including mechanical, software, systems, and quality engineering
Support project planning, timelines, and budget coordination
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards (e.g., UL, IEC, FDA)
Conduct testing related to EMI, safety, and manufacturability
Perform root cause analysis on product or component failures and document findings
Develop technical documentation including specifications, test protocols, and reports
Participate in design reviews to ensure robustness, reliability, and safety
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
Candidate Requirements
Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 4 years’ experience in electronics engineering or a similar role
Strong background in analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuit design
Experience in product development within a regulated industry is highly desirable (medical devices preferred)
Knowledge of EMC testing and requirements documentation is an advantage
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
