Job Opportunity:
Social Farming Regional Coordinator Position
Our organisation is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to coordinate our social farming activities across the region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to promoting inclusion and equality, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate all aspects of social farming activity, including stakeholder engagement and project management.
* Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, participants, and partner organisations.
* Provide support and guidance to stakeholders on social farming best practices and policies.
* Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as needed.
* Contribute to the development of new initiatives and programs that promote social inclusion and rural development.
Requirements:
* Third Level qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in health and social care, rural development, or a related area.
* Proven project management experience, with a strong understanding of project planning and delivery.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* A commitment to promoting inclusion and equality, with a strong understanding of relevant policies and procedures.
* Ability to work outside of normal office hours on occasions and travel frequently across the region.
* Full clean driving licence with own transport.
Working Conditions:
* 35 hours per week.
* Base: Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim (with significant work across the South Midlands region and remote work).
