Join our fabulous team at the Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort as Breakfast & Afternoon Tea Manager. This is a key leadership role for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering impeccable service, creating memorable guest experiences, and inspiring high‑performing teams.
Set on a beautiful 1,300‑acre country estate on the outskirts of Cavan Town, Farnham Estate is one of Ireland’s most popular Spa & Golf destinations with a superb reputation for being a genuine “retreat to nature”. Responsibilities
Lead the daily operations of the Breakfast and Afternoon Tea service, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences at all times.
Manage, motivate and develop the front‑of‑house team through effective leadership, training and performance management.
Maintain the highest standards of service, presentation, cleanliness and attention to detail in line with luxury hospitality expectations.
Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen brigade to deliver innovative, seasonal and high‑quality food and beverage offerings.
Drive guest satisfaction by building strong relationships, anticipating guest needs and professionally resolving any service issues.
Oversee staffing levels, rota planning and labour costs to ensure operational efficiency and productivity.
Ensure all health & safety, HACCP and company policies and procedures are fully adhered to.
Monitor stock control, ordering and inventory management to support smooth daily operations.
Support revenue growth initiatives through upselling, promotions and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Collaborate with senior management to continuously improve service standards, operational performance and guest feedback scores.
Conduct regular team briefings and training sessions to maintain consistency and encourage a culture of excellence.
Ensure the restaurant and tea lounge environment consistently reflects the luxury standards and reputation of the resort.
