As Deli Manager you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, and high-quality produce and ensuring the area is operating to the highest levels.
The role:
1. Manage the day-to-day operation of the deli department and delegate tasks to staff
2. Maintain high standards across the deli area, ensuring high-quality products and service are the norm
3. Produce high-end food and merchandising the deli area daily
4. Responsible for optimising stock levels and minimising waste/waste control in your department
5. Develop new ideas to drive sales and increase footfall in-store
Key Responsibilities:
6. Minimising waste and maintaining margins
7. Experience in stock control and stock management is essential
8. Ensure the implementation of food safety standards and H.A.C.C.P.
9. Train staff per company policies and procedures
10. Resolve any customer queries or complaints effectively and efficiently
11. Maintain the deli area to a high standard per company planograms
12. Experience within the fresh food industry desirable
13. Own transport preferred
