Urban are delighted to be working in partnership with one of Ireland’s very best architectural design studios as they look to welcome a BIM Manager to their team in Dublin. This fantastic team are well known for their creative quality, they work across a diverse portfolio of projects and perform to the highest of standards.
As BIM Manager, you will play a key role in advancing BIM technology adoption and application. You will oversee BIM project implementation, ensure smooth coordination among project participants and digital tools, and enhance project outcomes. Your expertise will boost productivity and streamline delivery processes. You will also work with clients, the design team, and the project controls manager to develop delivery strategies
Responsibilities:
* Management, implementation, and upkeep of all BIM standards
* Provide mentoring and leadership to all BIM staff.
* Develop and put into effect the BIM protocols and BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for each project aligned with office standards.
* Management and provision of training and continuing education as required to staff on all BIM software, processes, and new technologies.
* Serve as the project interface, supporting each team by managing and creating content library files and templates, establishing and enforcing standards, and evaluating project models.
* Support the BIM team in implementing BIM processes in projects and at strategic level.
* Offer technical support, mentorship, training and onboarding sessions.
* Keep up to date with all BIM technologies and performance enhancing software, conferences, seminars, and workshops for BIM.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in BIM implementation and management
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management
* In-depth knowledge of BIM methodologies, processes, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650, COBie, IFC, etc.)
* In-depth knowledge of Revit – essential requirement.
* Experience in developing and implementing BIM standards, protocols, and workflows. Proficiency in BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and ACC, as well as familiarity with other relevant tools and technologies.
* Strong communication skills, as you will be likely working across studios.
