Location: Dublin, Ireland
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid
Salary: €85,000 - €95,000 (DOE)
About the Role
An established and growing technology consultancy is seeking a Senior .NET/C# Developer to join their team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about building scalable, high‑performance applications using modern Microsoft technologies.
As a Senior Developer, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle - from architecture and design through to implementation and support. You'll work across a variety of enterprise‑level projects for high‑profile clients, with a strong emphasis on clean code, testability, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
 * Design, develop and maintain high‑quality software solutions using .NET Core / .NET 6+ and C#
 * Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with other internal and third‑party services
 * Participate in solution design and architecture discussions with stakeholders
 * Take ownership of technical solutions and ensure they align with customer needs
 * Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers when required
 * Work with cloud services, primarily Microsoft Azure
Technical Skills & Experience
 * Strong commercial experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+ and C#
 * Solid understanding of ASP.NET MVC and Web API development
 * Experience working with front‑end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React or Angular a plus)
 * Proficiency in Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, etc.)
 * Experience working with SQL Server and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework)
 * Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
 * Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
Desirable
 * Experience with microservices architecture
 * Familiarity with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
 * Exposure to message queues (e.g., Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)
 * Certifications in Microsoft or Azure technologies
