Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Psychologist to join the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) based in Athlone. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting children and young people with complex disabilities and their families in a child- and family-centered model of care.
Responsibilities
* Provide psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions for children with disabilities.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists.
* Support families and caregivers by offering guidance and intervention strategies.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised care plans.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in service development initiatives.
Qualifications
* Recognised qualification in Psychology and full PSI.
* Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, preferably working with children with disabilities.
* Experience with a variety of psychological assessments and intervention models.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A passion for providing evidence-based, child- and family-centered care.
